Here`s a little info about Mitt val, mitt liv in English. Fell free to e-mail me mittvalmittliv@hotmail.com if there`s something else you`re wondering about. How long has the webzine been running and why did you start it? Mitt val, mitt liv (My choice, my life in English) was put out on the internet on February 23, 2004. The whole thing started as a interview site with Swedish non-political skinheads but soon developed into a webzine with articles, reviews and so on. I had always wanted to do a fanzine so it was kind of a dream come true. Someday I`ll hope to make a paper-version... Do you do the webzine by yourself? Yea, I do....It`s better that way. But I welcome contributions. Why did you name the zine "Mitt val, mitt liv"? It`s the title of a great song by Swedish Oi-legends Agent Bulldogg. You find it on their second album 1000 glas. Is there a full English version? No, not at the moment. But I hope to make it (atleast in some sections) in the future. But then I need more disc-space and I cant afford a memorycard at the moment. How often do you update? About 2-3 times a month. In the beginning of each month I put out "Månaden som gick" a monthly (kind of) column on what happened the previous month, scene-news, what`s going on within the scene, upcoming gigs and so on. Can I send a record to you? Yea, I welcome that. I try to put out reviews 3-4 times a year and being able to achive that goal I need records,zines and so on. I review anything punk, Oi, hardcore, reggae, rocksteady and ska-related. But not emo or white power-music (or any other "too" political) If you send something I`ll e-mail you when the review is up and do a translation from Swedish to English that I`ll also e-mail you. I have written articles that has been published in Umezine, A message to you , Pissed and Proud webzine and Horrorshow though. How do you pick the one`s being interviewed? I try to mix people that play in bands with fanzinemakers, people that run recordlabels and so on....All sorts of people within the Swedish scene (but foreign people are welcome too *s*) Hm, does non-political mean nazi-liberal? Most skins in Germany that call themselves that are fencewalkers..what values do you put in the word "non-political"? Non-political for me means that you dont mix you own political views with the fact that you are a skinhead. You dont put the words "Red" or "Nazi" in front of it....You are just a skinhead and enjoys the music and keeps for political views to yourself. What are the articles about? Gig-reviews, if you can call yourself non-political but listen to White power music, tributes to bands and so on...If soem article looks interesting I`ll gladly translated for you. I have a recordlabel and would like to get some distrobution in Sweden, can you help me?
